Job Summary

Responsible for legal and authority-related project matters, including land issues, LURC, resettlement, and compensation.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand legal procedures and current regulations related to construction investment, investment law, land law, construction, and bidding law.

- Executing the work on land matters / resettlement’s compensation and allocation / projects and overall township approvals;

- Draft and review application dossiers for the incorporation documents and submission documents required by the authorities for the project companies;

- Take on an role in terms of authority liaison and compliance matters, ensure all authority permits, inspections, approval documents are obtained in a timely manner in line with project development schedule such as: project investment in principal approval; investor recognition; investor recognition; sales permit for residential projects; final inspection approval, occupancy permit; utilities connection approvals, project height approval, 1/2000 planning, 1/500 planning, Basic Design, Technical design, Construction permit, construction inspections, Firefighting police, SHE officer, submit for sales permit for residential projects, etc;

- Implement procedures of applying for LURC for entire project and each unit;

- Advice on legal and compliance matters and provide update on/summary of changes in laws and regulations which are relevant to the company’s field of business;

- To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company;

- Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the line managers and the requirement & nature of the department.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Law/ Economic/ Technology

Competencies Required

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in construction and property development

Skills & Abilities

- Able to communicate in English with all parties and multi levels, assertive and initiative.

- Good communication skills, especially when working with competent authorities.

- Good working knowledge related to construction and property development process, authorities matter and law.

- Quick relief, flexible in work. Quick in handling problems.

- Candidates who are willing to take a business trip are a priority.
