(Senior) Technical Services Engineer – hddo & Main

Job Summary

This position is looking for the experienced candidate able to provide excellent technical supports for Metal working fluids (MWF) business growth. The candidate will work close to B2B sales team to develop business and build high experienced service level to customers. Main activities are technical & product consulting, conduct field trial test, oil monitoring, product training and complaint handling. This position is reported to Technical Service Manager:

- Support sales team converts new customers | key accounts in MWF business.

- Deliver professional services activities at highest level to end-users on time in full (basic & advance service packages).

- Market research and update latest information regarding technical & product of competitors to team lead and business head.

- Ad-hoc assignment if any

Key Area Results

New Customer Development (Key Accounts Conversion)

- Working with sales team to develop technical supporting plan for customer visits.

- Do presentation and convince new customers in term of products & services provided.

- Be able to analyse competitor’s products and make technical comparison reports.

- Conduct field trial test onsite to prove MotulTech product’s features & benefits. Total cost ownership development if required.

- Work close to product team and customer’s engineering department to track oil test report and implement the result of field test.

Excellent Service Operation

- Comply to company compliances: code of conduct, company core values, operating procedure…

- Collaborate with sales and D-center to recommend accurate products or provide technical solution per application in time.

- Be able to provide the technical supports 24/7 if required at high professional level.

- Proactive to develop customers visit plan to monitor and check-up coolant health in period.

- Coolant and oil analysis at highly service commitment.

- Customer complaint handling on time in full (OTIF)

- Be able to collaborate D-Center and product team to develop comprehensive training material and organize training courses for sales forces and customers.

- Collaborate with sales team to develop technical packs for sales (POP, TCO, toolkit…)

Marketing Activity Supports

- Collaborate with technical manager and sales team to develop presentation and carry out MotulTech supports at seminar or workshop.

- Presents at exhibition or any MotulTech marketing activities if required.

 
Qualification and Experience Required

Qualification & Certification

- Min Bachelor of mechanical engineering or min Bachelor of petroleum engineering also referred.  

Willing to travel if required.

- Background & Experience

- Minimum 3-year experience of technical service in industrial oil and metal working fluids or strong experience of maintenance field in metal working environment would be referred.

- Able to design and implement technical service program on time in full.

- Able to read and understand technical documents of lubricants and mechanical industry in English.

- Proven ability to understand product specifications and solution mindset.

- Practical experience to develop training material and do presentation on stage.

- Be able to collaborate to drive oriented-result efficiency.

- Technical knowledge and customer service mindset required.

- Good written and spoken in English. Able to communicate in Japanese would be advantaged.
